What is GEMS?

Who is GEMS for?

GEMS is for girls in 3rd-8th grade. We welcome any girl of this age who would like to come, even if you don't have any church affiliation. Come and check out the fun!

When and where does GEMS meet?

Meetings are held here at Comstock CRC from 6:30 PM to 8:00 PM on the 1st and 3rd Wednesdays from October through April.

What do you do at GEMS' meetings?

Approximately twenty girls kick-off each meeting by worshiping God through singing and reciting the GEMS aim, theme Bible verse for the year, and Micah 6:8, which says, "He has showed you, O man, what is good. And what does the LORD require of you? To act justly and to love mercy and to walk humbly with your God."

For the rest of the meeting, the girls work through their Bible lesson with their counselors, work on merit badges, . work on an arts and crafts project, and have fun with various other individual and team building activites.
